Data Sources
People Facts is based on two main sources:
|
U.S. Bureau of the Census, International
Data Base (2011 midyear estimates).
All population growth calculations including the real-time population
clocks use the latest (June 2011) current estimates and growth rates.
People Facts has attempted to present the data in an easier to understand
form. For this reason many of the displayed results have been rounded
to the nearest thousand. Where this occurs, the column header (used
for sorting the table) shows the rounding as ('000s). |
C.I.A. World Fact Book (July 2011).
The lastest edition of this well known resource provides a wealth
of useful information for most countries. So far, this site has used
this source for the Population Aging section. However, it is planned
to provide other statistics relating to Education, Employment and
Religions in the near future. |
